Our commitment
At Regional Broadband, we want all our customers to be able to access and enjoy our services. We understand that some people may need additional supports or accommodations, and we work continuously to make our digital platforms and customer-facing services easier to use for everyone. This accessibility statement explains how we support customers in choosing and managing their service in a way that works for them.
We are committed to providing reasonable accommodations for customers with disabilities. If you need any adjustments when managing your account or accessing our services, please reach out and we will do our best to support you.
As a provider of electronic communications services based in Ireland, we take account of our obligations under the Equal Status Acts 2000–2018 and the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882), as transposed into Irish law by the European Union (Accessibility Requirements of Products and Services) Regulations 2023.
Website and digital accessibility
We design, develop and maintain our digital platforms to try to ensure all customers can navigate and use our website, and we aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. Our website is built on WordPress, and we work to keep it accessible by providing:
- A clear, consistent layout and navigation across all pages
- Meaningful headings and page structure to support screen readers
- Alternative text for informative images
- Sufficient colour contrast between text and backgrounds
- Text that can be resized without loss of content or functionality
- Keyboard-only navigation of the main website
- Descriptive link text and labelled form fields
To help make our online services easier to use, we also support a range of accessibility tools built into modern computers and browsers, described below.
Using your device’s accessibility features
Making text larger
Our websites use a consistent font across all pages. If you need larger text, you can adjust this through your device’s settings:
- Windows: use the Windows Magnifier to enlarge on-screen text and images.
- Mac: use macOS Zoom for system-wide magnification.
Most browsers also allow you to zoom in or out directly, making content bigger or smaller as needed.
Improving on-screen visibility
Most operating systems provide additional options to help you customise the visual experience, including:
- Making the mouse pointer larger or more visible
- Adjusting colour schemes, brightness or contrast
- Changing default fonts or font sizes to make text easier to read
Using voice recognition
For customers with limited mobility, or anyone who prefers hands-free computing, built-in voice recognition tools allow you to:
- Open programs
- Navigate your computer
- Dictate text
- Carry out tasks using spoken commands

Known limitations
Despite our best efforts, some parts of the website may not yet be fully accessible:
- Some older documents, such as PDFs, may not be fully compatible with screen reader software.
- Some third-party tools and content on our website — such as the live chat and contact forms provided by HubSpot, and any embedded videos or maps — are not fully within our control and may not meet all accessibility standards.
If you cannot access something on our website, we will be happy to provide the information or service in an alternative format on request.
Compatibility
The website is designed to work with recent versions of the major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge) and with common assistive technologies, including screen readers, screen magnifiers and speech recognition software.

Customer complaints handling procedure
Regional Broadband is committed to ensuring that customers receive excellent customer service when contacting us. If, however, you want to make a formal complaint, you can do this by following our Code of Practice. You may also have rights under the Equal Status Acts 2000–2018, under which complaints can be made to the Workplace Relations Commission.
Contract changes
From time to time, Regional Broadband may change your pricing and/or terms and conditions of service. We’ll always write to you, giving one month’s notice before any change, and you can choose to cancel your service without penalty in this period. If you use the service after this date, the new pricing and terms and conditions will apply.
